Search reference
Chorus provides one global search across every kind of entity in your workspace. Open it
from the search button in the sidebar, the header icon on mobile, or the Cmd+K (Ctrl+K)
keyboard shortcut. This page describes what search covers and how results are bounded.
What is searchable
Section titled “What is searchable”Search spans six entity types. Each type matches on its most identifying text fields:

Matching is case-insensitive substring matching: a query finds any entity whose searchable text contains it. Each result carries a short snippet showing the matched text in context, its status, and the project it belongs to. Results from all types are merged and ordered by most recently updated. You can also filter to a single type — Tasks, Ideas, Proposals, Documents, or Projects — to see the full top results for that type alone.
How results are scoped
Section titled “How results are scoped”Search always runs within your company; results from other workspaces are never returned. Within your company you can further narrow results to one of three scopes:

Chorus picks a sensible default scope from where you are. On the projects overview the default is Global; inside a Project Group it defaults to that group; inside a project it defaults to that project. You can switch scope at any time from the selector in the search header.
Selecting a result takes you to that entity’s detail page — the Task, Idea, Proposal, Document, project dashboard, or project list — so search doubles as fast navigation.
